Jerry DeVito is a Managing Director of Owl Rock Capital Partners. Prior to joining Owl Rock in 2018, Mr. DeVito provided investment banking advisory services to clients in the structured credit markets through an affiliation with Gallatin Capital LLC. Preceding that, Mr. DeVito was a Managing Director at GSO Capital Partners (“GSO”), Blackstone’s alternative credit platform, which Mr. DeVito joined in 2008. While at GSO, Mr. DeVito was involved in the structuring of various fund leverage facilities, asset manager acquisitions, risk management and other structured credit activities. Prior to GSO, Mr. Devito was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the collateralized loan obligations and related collateralized product businesses at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for transaction origination and structuring. Mr. DeVito joined Credit Suisse in 2000 when Credit Suisse acquired Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”), which he joined in 1990. At DLJ, Mr. DeVito held various positions in investment banking and high yield capital markets, most recently as Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group and Co-Head of high yield structured finance, and was involved in the structuring and placement of numerous structured credit and asset backed securities transactions. Mr. DeVito received a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University.
